Breath of the Wild 2 Trailer - What we saw

Stone Carvings

The first one-half of this trailer concentrate on a endocarp carving that draws some serious callbacks to the arras interpret inBreath of the Wildthat show the Calamity . This mysterious stone cutting seems to orbit around a slightly humanoid figure . It has hands stretched out , but it also has an unbelievably long neck and seemingly alien feature film .

Ouroboros and the cycle

After that , the footage switches to the Hero of Time as he blasts open up two banging doors that remove the way to one of the many stony islands in the sky that have been spotted in previous trailers . What ’s interesting , though , is the two dragons seen forming a circle on the door .

This seems to link with the logo of Tears of the Kingdom , which is two dragons swallow each other . The logo is reminiscient of the ouroboros , a symbolic representation depicting a serpet eating its own backside . It ’s supposed to represent the hertz of life , dying , and rebirth . These themes are definitely relevant to this game ( where Gandondorf patently is reborn ) and the series as a whole ( where Link , Ganon and Zelda incessantly act out their battle ) .

Equipment, Glider, and Areas

The trailer depicts Link with a trade name - new shield . There are also viles of green liquid attatched to his pelvic arch . This is potential the green free energy seen coming out of Ganondorf from thefirst trailer . Link can also be seen reversing time and riding up a cliff to take him from the terra firma to the sky . The area where this pass looked like the Faron Woods by where the Faron tower would be . It ’s possible these columns will replace the towers from Breath of the Wild .

in the end , the trailer shows Link free on a Edward Durell Stone sailplane . Of take down , here : the stone sailplane is in the shape of a razz , an animal that ’s been connected with Hylians quite often . Not only can wings be found on the Royal Crest , but even the inhabitants of Skyloft cod bird ( call Loftwings ) in Skyward Sword .

Also , Link appear to be glide over Tabintha ’s Ridge ( Ludlo ’s Bog can be construe in the bottom unexpended quoin ) . Link is about to land on a huge mound in front of Gerudo Highlands , where a large wall painting of the murky figure from the initial stone carvings can be determine . It ’s safe to say this character will play a Brobdingnagian part in Tears of the Kingdom .
