With a new season of Destiny 2 comes spate of complaint and criticisms from the biotic community . It ’s one of those games that everyone simultaneously loves and hate . With Season 19 , Season of the Seraph , there ’s plenty to be crucify about . So , as part of the clock time - observe custom of Festivus , rent ’s air our grievance . So , every week , Guardians are dripping course some account , finish the Seasonal Activity a smattering of meter to unlock upgrade , and then drop said upgrades at the relic to farm the new seasonal gear . It ’s a big , complicated hamster wheel that many are sick of being on . While many would like to just take on through the news report at their own pace , this go out the problem of message droughts much like those that plagued Destiny . I ’m not sure what the right solution is here as it ’s a fine blood between player engagement , meter - gate mental object , and contribute player what they want .
Warmind Cells are hot garbage in Destiny 2
With the takings of Rasputin and the Bray syndicate to Destiny 2 , many were hoping that there would be a renewed focus on Warmind Cells build . Since being nerfed back in Season 15 , Warmind Cells simply have n’t had the same appeal with their reduced damage , spoke , and increase disbursal to equip .

Destiny 2 Champion mods are too restrictive
One of the biggest bother points for each season , and especially so in Seraph , is how restrictive Champion Mods are . Guardians have this giant , Brobdingnagian stock of weapon , but we ’re stuck using only a handful if we want to encounter sure high - level cognitive content like Dungeons , Nightfalls , and Legendary Lost Sectors . Some seasons are good than others , and Exotics have receive intrinsic perks to help with this , but it ’s still not enough . It forces players into a meta for upwards of three months and if that meta is painful to fiddle , then players will just opt - out .
Not enough love is being given to the core playlists
With the Light Level going up each season and many of the seasonal activities requiring Guardians to toil out fabric in the core playlists , it is atrocious to start the same Strikes over and over , play the same distressing handful of Crucible map , and sustain through the miserable two - three Gambit maps on gyration .
Bungie has made some betterment , notably to the Vanguard Ops play list by including past seasonal activity , but it ’s not enough . Many have suggested bringing back Heroic Strikes and Strike Scoring from Destiny . This would give Guardians plenteous reason to rebroadcast the same message with the hope of obtaining Strike - specific loot .
Personally , I would love to see the Strikes in the Destiny Content Vault eject back into Destiny 2 . Crucible want a complete inspection and repair , and the Competitive Division assure to do that , but so far the reception has n’t been great . And Gambit … Gambit desperately needs help in a identification number of areas with the most noteworthy being more maps .

While Bungie has communicate that change are coming , we have to commemorate that game evolution is a giant lumbering beast .
