Despite being hit with multiple nerfs , Sojourn is still a strong paladin in Overwatch 2 . She simply does n’t match the godlike strength that she had before . Players wo n’t be able to one - shot foe with her petty fire anymore . With a couple of gameplay pinch , though , players can still shoot up the stratified ladder with Sojourn .
Tips to playing Sojourn post nerf
Use primary fire more
SinceSojournlost her ability to one - shot 200 HP enemies , role player will have to swear on her main fire much more . This will also change the way of life instrumentalist use her Overclock power . Now , players ca n’t essentially play back like a Widowmaker and cull off contradict DPS any longer . Play closer to the mid-range

Now , instead of rely on her secondary fire for kill , she can train down opposing DPS with her primary flack alone , saving the Railgun for other key targets .

Save Disruptor Shot for flanks
Disruptor Shot has always been a great tool to switch at choking coil points to hit multiple enemies at once . While it will still handle damage in this instance , it no longer slows enemies . This spend a penny it slightly less useful as an engage shaft ( although it ’s still not too bad ) . thespian might get more value out of it by make unnecessary it for flankers . If the Sojourn player sees a Genji or Reaper on the opposing side ( which should be happening a lot ) , they can wait for them to assail and place a Disruptor Shot at their feet while they escape . The flanker hopefully will get caught in the shot and should go down with a couple of hits from primary ardor .
