While this evolution does n’t require any special items , it does require a specialRockruff . The only variety of Rockruff that can evolve into Dusk form Lycanroc is one with an Ability calledOwn Tempo . This is a rarified power to have , and it may take you some time to find if you plan to catch itfrom the wilderness . If a Rockruff has this power , it will not be able to evolve into either the Midday or Midnight Form . Instead , Rockruff will only develop after it has reached degree 25 at some point during the eve hours .
