MLB : The Show 22 has a customizable difficulty system that has many option to fit your gameplay skill and penchant , with nine different difficulty setting and three different gameplay styles . Not only can you change the difficultness to your liking , but you’re able to also switch batten and pitching difficultness individually .
To commute your pitching and batten difficulty configurations , go to configurations , then navigate to the pitching tab or the batten tab .

Pitching Difficulty
The difficultness is the first scene and can be further customized by adjusting more pitching configurations like Pitch Confidence and other advanced background . Adjusting the pitching difficulty will change the batter AI skill and strategy . At lower difficulty levels , batters will have lower strike zone consciousness and will not adjust as well to situation . At high difficulty degree , batters will memorize from your pithing tendencies and apply the best strategy for the situation .
Batting Difficulty
Changing the batting difficultness affects the AI mound ’s strategy . The trouble does not so much conform how fast a pitcher throws or how much the ball rift , but which pitch type are used and how accurate the pitches are . At lower difficulties , pitchers will project clear balls and strikes , while at higher difficulties , pitchers will paint the edges of the tap zone and mix in fast and off - speed pitches .
Both Batting and Pitching have nine difficultness levels and a dynamic option . dynamical difficulty will adjust to your gameplay and can be a great option if you do not find a difficulty that couple your playstyle . The only downside to dynamical difficultness is that you could not see the spirit level that you are currently play , so you just have to trust the system .
