Based on former news leak , Collei is highly speculated to be many of Genshin Impact ’s firsts — the first Sumeru character to release , the first Dendro character , and the first character from the manga to become playable . And a new leak may just add together to her roster of firsts .
According to a Twitter Charles William Post by@dimbreath , remnants from the Version 2.5 beta show that the developers pass on information about an Elemental Burst Gadget for Collei .
Another Twitter user named@SaveYourPrimospointed out that this raw entropy prove that nothing has yet to indicate that Collei will receive a Vision , despite early leaks that she may become playable . This character first appeared in the Genshin Impact manga , where she suffered from being a trial depicted object for Archon Residue experiment conducted by the Fatui .
In the last release chapter of the manga , she left for Sumeru to study medicinal drug alongside Cyno , a scholar who appear during the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview . As Collei was never revealed to have received a Vision during the incident in the Ludi Harpastum , it could be presume that her playability will involve a new gameplay shop mechanic that appropriate her to apply Elemental powers with the assist of a Gadget .

Typically , fictional character who obtain visual sensation are grant lifelike Elemental power , remove the need for a Gadget to assist them in fight .
