How to counter Staraptor in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Staraptor encounter in the open will always have the AbilityIntimidate , making strong-arm moves deal less harm . Staraptor ’s Defense and Special Defense are exchangeable , making the switch to using Special moves more effective . It has a terrible Special Attack and does not hear any extra motility through level up , make gamey Defense Pokémon likeGarganacl , Orthworm , andBronzonggreat options to fight against it . A fast Electric or Ice Type Pokémon will also be able to take out Staraptor , makingFroslassalmost untouchable as it is immune to both Normal and Fighting Type moves and will only take half the damage from Brave Bird .
Raichu , Jolteon , and Rotom all carry on with Staraptor as well if they can take it out in one hit . Rotom Frost can be hit by Close Combat for super effective price , but it has a salutary defense to withstand the hit .
