Originally announced in June 2020 via atweetposted by the officialAdopt MeTwitter account , Fossil Eggs arrived a few calendar month later in Oct. 2020 during the experience’sFossil Isle Excavationevent that take place from Oct. 2 , 2020 , to Nov. 11 , 2020 . During this outcome , role player could excavate fogy from a dig site , analyze them , and use them to come across what type of animals would be inside the mysterious Fossil Egg at the time . Once a player discovered all of the Fossil Egg animals , any future turn up fossils could be redeemed for toys .
After the Fossil Isle Excavation result ended , the Fossil Egg was add together to the Gumball Machine in the Nursery , replacing the Aussie Egg . On April 16 , 2021 , the Fossil Egg was bump off from the Gumball Machine and exchange with the Ocean Egg . The Fossil Egg can no longer be buy in Adopt Me and can only be obtained through trading .

Fossil Egg Details
The Fossil Egg is gullible , brown , and tan in gloss and features various scuffs and dirt blot around its bottom to indicate that it had been excavated . The back of the egg has a green and yellow dinosaur - esque tail and various browned scurf . The video below posted by the official Adopt Me Twitter account showcases this adorable egg in its idle state .
